We’ve been thinking about wills. Which leads to some very strange conversations. “So what happens if there’s a huge explosion at a wedding and we both die at the same time as all of our beneficiaries?” “How likely is that?” “It happened in Dynasty” (OK, well it didn’t go quite like that, but you get… Continue reading Mortality

A New Pleasure
A generally disappointing day was turn around completely on getting to London Bridge station and finding that Vanilla Coke has finally made it to the UK. Yes. I’m easily pleased.
Dangerous Ceilings
It was going to be a quiet weekend. My parents came down to see us. They were sleeping in the spare room which is right next to ours. At 5am we’re all woken up by an almighty crash. A patch of ceiling in the spare room has decided that it is tired of being a… Continue reading Dangerous Ceilings

A New Pleasure

I sent him the payment instructions soon after the auction finished and got no response. Over… Continue reading Heartless Bastard
Charidee
I, of course, have no objections to giving money to charity. One of the saddest days I spent last spring when I was unemployed was to go thru my bank account cancelling all of the money direct debits that were going to various charities. Now I’m starting to to get back on my feet financially… Continue reading Charidee
Priorities
Buffy season six is released on DVD on Monday, but Play.com delivered my pre-ordered copy yesterday. This leaves me with a huge dilemma. I should be working on the book, but it seems that I am pathologically incapable of doing any kind of work when there are unwatched Buffy DVDs in the house.
