  1. It just reads like a well written sales pitch. Suddenly I really want to find out what all these ‘secrets’ are she’s been hiding away, and I can’t help thinking thats the point. That blog post sounds more like a marketing campaign, written with the intention of bloggers nationwide/worldwide quoting her and spreading the word of her impending book release.I wont hold my breath that there will be anything in this book that will change anything other than a load of hearsay, rumours and speculation. Did you ever see the film “Loose Change” about 9/11? On the face of it, it virtually proved there was a 9/11 conspiracy (and it did it in the form of a FREE film, as opposed to a £15 book). But in reality it was all well constructed speculation. Did it force another inquiry? Where Bush now? Still running the US. Fat lot of good that did.Is ‘Inquiry’ the buzz word of the 20th century? Why does everything need an inquiry? How much will this inquiry cost us? I’m currently campaigning to keep my local A&E open – I can’t help thinking the money would be a lot better spent there.I know a lot of people disagree with my opinion on all this, but how many of those people actually live and work in London and have to get on the Underground every morning and evening? I’m a londoner myself, and personally I’m a lot more concerned with making sure it doesnt happen again than trying to find out who’s to blame. The 4 guys that did it are dead. Unless they were hired by Tony Blair himself, then what else do we actually need to know?I dont doubt Rachels work – in fact, I have a lot of respect for people that stand up for what they believe in. I just hope that if she manages to reach her goal and gets a public inquiry, it actually proves something other than that 4 p*ssed off yorkshire lads decided to blow themselves up and take 4 items of public transport with them.

I don’t think you read it properly. Rachel talks first about her book and then about the interview. Sadly she then proceeds to mix the two up in exactly the way she was trying to avoid by asking them not to talk about the book.

I don’t think the book is about the attack itself.

RN: The book is personal and nothing to do with the campaign for an independent 7/7 inquiry. I’ll talk about the book when it is time, after the big news story has broken and the news cycle has moved on. I really don’t want to confuse the two separate issues. I don’t want people to think the 7/7 inquiry campaigning is about the book. It is not; it never was.

Rachel’s work is not about conspiracy theories but about understanding why people are driven to suicide attacks and how we can all learn to live together instead of killing each other.
