Mozart For Free

Oh look. Following in the footsteps of the BBC’s Beethoven experiment from last year, the Danish Broadcasting Corporation is making nine Mozart symphonies available for free download starting on January 27th.

I got the information from Jon Lund, but here’s the original announcement (in Danish).

  1. Update from the site as the link stopped working.
“DR has provided a podcast service for the Mozart downloads. Just enter the sting http://podcast.dr.dk/mozart/rssfeed/mozart.xml into your podcast-program (like iTunes) and wait for the symphonies to download themselfes when put “on air”.”
I have four of them now, and apart from all the talking (in Danish presumably) they sound nice.
