I just noticed that the number of Gmail invitations that I’ve got to give away has doubled to 100. If you want an invitation and I know who you are, then just send me an email and I’ll fire one off to you.

In a way I’m surprised they’re still doing invitations, because you can get a gmail account (and indeed have to get one) when you sign up for Google Talk. Incidentally, Google Talk is pretty poor, it’s a long way behind MSN Messenger.
Yeah. It surprised me too. I thought it had just opened to general signup.
But it does have the advantage that it uses Jabber under the covers – so there are any number of clients that can talk to it.
