Maps and Time

Dan Hill has a brilliant idea – adding a time slider to Google Earth so that you can trace the development of a map through time. This has to happen. Only possible downside would be the amount of time I’d spend exploring old maps.

Moved by Google

According to Google Maps I live here. But I think they’ve got it wrong. We’re actually on the other side of the railway line that goes through the centre of the photo. Update: On rechecking, I see it’s been fixed.
