Science or Superstition?

    Mr Blair admitted that he was a poor science pupil at school and had thought the subject was for “boffins” and those “devoid of emotions”.

    But he said he was now “practically ‘born again’ on the subject

    ‘Born again’, eh? Interesting choice of phrase. Having said that, it’s noticable how deeply embedded religious phrases and metaphors are when you realise you’re hearing them at a humanist’s meeting.
