Did I miss a memo about English spelling reform? More and more people seem to be spelling ridiculous as "rediculous". Have they all been infected by the same typo? Or is it some street-talk that I'm unacquainted with?

When did you last get a memo? I'm suddenly aware that this means of communication has now pretty much vanished - at least in the offices I have worked in.
Oh, and I've never seen a 'rediculous' - but always see 'definately'.
Fair point on memos. I'm just showing my age there.
And "definately" is one of my common spelling mistakes. I have to make a conscious effort to get it right.
