Still trying to get help in working out who to vote for, so I turned to the Political Survey 2005. My results are here.
They suggest I vote for the Green Party (which would be unlikely to be honest) but the biggest surprise for me was that they described me as “fairly socialist”. Fairly!
I’m not sure the test really tests for the kind of socialist you are; there’s very few questions dealing with redistribution of wealth and a good deal about whether government should be economically interventionist. So, if you’re a post-Clause 4 type I think it’s going to be pretty hard to score more than ‘fairly socialist’ on this survey.
